Chemical Analysis (SAE J2175) :

Carbon	:	% 0,10 - % 0,15
Manganese	:	% 1,20 - % 1,50
Silicon	:	% 0,10 - % 0,25
Sulphur	:	maks. % 0,035
Phosphorus	:	maks. % 0,035

Hardness :

The hardness of 90% of all shot particles tested shall be within the range of 40-50 HRc.

Density :

Minimum density is 7.0 g/cm³

Microstructure :

Low carbon cast steel shots have a bainitic structure which produce the combination of high hardness, long life and durability.

General Appearance :

The cast steel shot shall be as nearly spherical as is commercially possible with a minimum of elongated or compound particles, tails, hollows, broken pieces, slag and dirt.

Packaging :

Steel Shots are packed in 25 kg polyethylene bags, 40 bags on 1 tonne EUR wooden pallet and secured with cardboard box and shrink cap. All materials which are used for packaging are environmentally safe and recyclable.
